Verizon Finally Having a Windows Phone 7

Verizon is finally releasing a Windows Phone 7 this month! The HTC Trophy is supposed to be on sale starting May 26th http://windowsteamblog.com/windows_phone/b/windowsphone/archive/2011/05/19/verizon-htc-trophy-on-sale-may-26.aspx. As a bonus if you buy the phone before July 15th you will have a choice of an XBOX360 game:  Halo: Reach, Kinect Sports or Lode Runner.

The date for the release has been a moving target all year and it’s nice to finally have it confirmed. We’ve been a long time Verizon customer and are hoping to not be disappointed by the phone when I finally get. Now I’ll just have to be patient for the Angry Birds release which is scheduled for June 29th (http://www.xbox.com/en-US/Live/Mobile/MustHaveGames/Home). Gotta have something to do waiting in the theater for the cool movies coming out this summer.
