Team Explorer Everywhere will be free. Developers who use Eclipse for development now won’t be charged for the software or a Client Access License (CAL).

Team Foundation Server Express is free for use by five developers. Features include Source Code Management, Work Item Tracking, Build Automation, Agile Taskboard and a few more features still to come.

You will be able to connect ops teams with dev teams via System Center 2012. This will allow them to better collaborate on production issues.  Features include the ability to escalate tickets and all the associated diagnostic data to the development teams by connecting it to Team Foundation Server.
